The London Borough of Ealing (LBE) has appointed Carter Jonas to deliver estate advice and property management services across its portfolio of more than 400 investment and operational assets.

Following a competitive tender via the Crown Commercial Service framework, Carter Jonas is appointed on a three-year contract. The firm will provide a core property management and accounting service, and additional landlord and tenant, acquisitions, disposals, telecoms and building surveying advice.

Iain Mulvey, business development director, Carter Jonas said: “We are enormously pleased to be working again with Ealing Council. We have a long-standing relationship with its team and look forward to playing an active role in supporting the strategic priorities of its estate.

“These are challenging economic times, and many local authorities are tasked with making transformational changes to reduce costs whilst finding innovative approaches to secure value across their portfolios. Our team has a broad range of experience in working with the public sector - we are currently advising 18 London boroughs across a range of disciplines. We will draw on these capabilities to assist Ealing Council to deliver on its objectives for the portfolio and develop long term solutions.”

Councillor Julian Bell, leader of Ealing Council said: “It is important that the council optimises the use of our estate to support our delivery of vital services, including our priority of delivering 2,500 good genuinely affordable homes. I look forward to working with Carter Jonas and drawing on their experience in securing value for money for the council and our residents.”
